Helen Maxwell is a freelance curator, art valuer and consultant who lived in Canberra from 1979 to 2014. She organises arts projects and exhibitions in Canberra, the NSW South Coast and other places from time to time.
In Canberra Helen ran two commercial galleries over 20 years:
australian Girls Own Gallery
(aGOG), 71 Leichhardt Street, Kingston (from 1989 to 1998) and
Helen Maxwell Gallery, 42 Mort Street, Braddon (from 2000 to
2010).
